SEADOWN DISTRICT NEWS.

There has been a lull in harvesting operations in the Seadown district during the last week owing to the stacks not being ready for the mills. The weather; too. will now interfere with the work, which will not commence until • well after Easter. There is a great deal of stack threshing to be done. Stock threshing returns have been most encouraging. Mr J. W. Topham had a fine crop of wheat which yielded in the vicinity of 70 bushels to the acre, and crops of 55 and 60 bushels are common.
