POULTRY CLUB.
Appointment of Judges for Annual Show. The Christ church Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Club met on Monday evening, Mr It. Pearce, president, presiding. The attendance was very large. The principal business was the election of judges for the annual show. The committee’s report on efforts made lo secure a building for the show was dealt with, and it was agreed to hold the matter over until the next meeting. it was agreed that the cups won outright at the last show be reinstated. It was agreed to hold the next meeting on April 3. It was decided that an effort be made to popularise tlie cookery and preserve classes for the coming show. Mr J. Coen was elected a member of the club, and Messrs S. Phipps and F. Thomas were nominated as members. The election of judges for all sections resulted as follows:—Open classes: All Game classes, Mr P. R. Bust; all Leghorns, Minorcas and Anconas, Mr T Kennedy; all Wyandottes, Mr A. Gapes; Orpingtons. Mr C. W. Tritt; Rhode Island Reds, Mr J. D. Gobbe; Sussex, Mr A. W. Pritchard; Hamburghs, Plymouth Rocks, etc., Mr P. Jack; ducks, Mr J. D. Gobbe. Bantam sections: All Game, Mr R. H. Johnstone; Black Rosecombs, Mr J. Wilson; and all other varieties, Mr W. H. Turvey. Utility classes: White Leghorns, Mr W. J. Martyn; Brown Leghorns, Mr S. F. Marshall; all other Leghorns and Anconas, Mr J. D. Gobbe; Minorcas. Mr T. Kennedy; Orpingtons, Mr T. Kennedy; Wyandottes, Mr A. Gapes; Rhode Island Reds, Mr P. Jack; Sussex, Mr A. W Pritchard; Plymouth Rocks. Langshans. Australorps and ducks, Mr J. D.
