RADIO BROADCASTS.

Station Hours to be Extended. The extension of the hours of transmission from the national radio stations becomes operative from Monday next, when the breakfast sessions will be extended half an hour, commencing at 7 a.m. and concluding at 8.30 a.m. The evening programmes will also be lengthened and the present closing time will be extended an hour, making the closing time 11 p.m. The stations which supply the alternative programmes will still adhere to the old times of transmission.
