DEATH OF OLD MAN.

Affair at Tuarangi Old Men’s Home. (Special to the “Star.") ASHBURTON, February 23. Alfred James Ellen, aged fifty-nine, an inmate of the Tuarangi Old Men’s Home, Ashburton, died late this evening after being in a serious conditiou from head injuries since Monday. lie was admitted to the Ashburton County Public Hospital on Monday and never regained consciousness. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
