-At a meeting: of the Royal Christchurch Musical Society’s committee it yg* 4 d ® c,de d to Rive the oratorio as the programme for the first concert of the season, this being a beautiful work and well appreciated by music-lovers. Practices will start on Tuesday next, and members are asked to bring their own copies. Copies will be available for purchase by those not having them. There are vacancies in the chorus for altos, tenors and basses.
