N.Z. Abattoir System May be Introduced in N.S.W. MINISTER’S OBSERVATIONS. United Press Assn.—By Blcctric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 24, 12.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 24. It is stated that, as a result of his visit to New Zeaiana, the Minister oi Health, Mr Weaver, intends to recommend to Cabinet the introduction of the team-killing system at Homebush Abattoirs. Such a decision will involve an expenditure of £IOO,OOO on alterations and reorganisation. The union opposes the system, as it means the speeding-up of the work, and the slaughtermen would lose the key position he enjoys on the killing floor under the present system.
