International Action Urged. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, February 21. When asked in the House of Commons whether ary joint action was being taken with Holland, the Dutch East Indies and the British colonies with reference to Japanese imports into those countries, Dr E. L. Burgin (Parliamentary Secretary to the Board cf Trade) said bat the Government desired that the question, if possible, should be dealt with by direct agreement between British and Japanese industrialists. A communique issued after to-da} r ’s meeting of representatives of the British and Japanese textile industries stated that it had not yet been possible to reach a definite decision regarding the geographical area to be covered by the discussion. A further meeting will be held.
