The finest formation flying seen over Christchurch for a number of years took place yesterday, when the nine machines of No. 3 (Bombing) Squadron, New Zealand Air Force, flew over the city and Lyttelton. The pilots kept their machines in place perfectly and their turning movements were carried out without loss of formation.
