NEW SWIMMING BATH.

Redcliffs Seeks Financial Assistance. An application for permission to construct a swimming bath at the Redcliffs School and for financial assistance in the project came before the Canterbury Education Board this morning, when the building committee reported that, financial help or material for fencing of the pool and provision of dressing accommodation was asked for. The committee had decided to grant permission for the construction of the swimming bath and to advise the committee that, although the board was unable to approve a grant or provide material for fencing and dressing sheds, its officers would be available for the preparation of plans and supervision of the work. The report was adopted.
