Wellington v. South Canterbury. Per Press Association. TIMARU, February 22. The cricket match between Wellington and South Canterbury was resumed this morning, when Wellington, with three wickets down for 33, took up play. The score had been raised to 38 when Morgan was out to an lbw decision. Hatch filled the vacancy and both treated M’Dougall with respect. O’Brien, after 34 minutes at the wickets, was run out. 45-5- 3. The halfcentury was hoisted by Hatch. Play was steady, with several changes of bowlers. A prolific partnership, which had yielded 42 runs, was broken when Hatch snicked one into the slips to Kane, off Seaton. Parsloe filled the vacancy, and the century was hoisted in 117 minutes.
