The thirtieth annual meeting of the United Friendly Society Dispensary delegates, .will take place this evening in Ridgely Hall at 8 o’clock. The report of the Board of Management and the statement of accounts and balancesheet will be presented and considered by the delegates. A very satisfactory year’s trading has -been achieved by careful and constant oversight on the part of the executive officers and board. Considering' the conditions of business during the past year, a reduction of the liability on the premises is an achievement, and must be appreciated by the affiliated societies. The board’s appeal to members t<» support the shop has apparently had effect in the increased cash sales, in this direction assisting to swell the net profits. The hospital bed scheme will be reported upon, also the board's recommendation regarding the levies. A falling-off in the number of prescriptions dispensed is an indication of the improved state of health of members, but it is understood from records kept since the inception of the institution that the total number of prescriptions dispensed to date is 1,183,959. The election of officers will take place, and no doubt will be keenly contested. X.O.G.T. Rily of Sydenham Juvenile Temple.— The Chief Templar. Brother M. Forscutt, presided.
