RETURNING TO WORK.
Gisborne Unemployed Strikers. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, February 20. Recent registrations at Gisborne have indicated a slackening of the strike spirit, approximately 100 having restored their status up to yesterday. Following on the Unemployment Board’s concession respecting a standdown fortnight, a meeting of relief workers to-day carried by a small majority a decision to return to work under protest.
