Forty-three local bodies have agreed to send representatives to the conference arranged by the Roadside Beautifying Association, to be held in the City Council Chambers oh March *7. They include the Christchurch City Council, borough councils, county councils and power boards. The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.), who is president of the association, said to-day that the object of the conference was to advance the cause of roadside beautifying in Canterbury.
