FELL INTO PIT.

Man Injures Back at Islington. A man named G. C. Evans, of 18, King Street, Templeton, suffered injuries to his back when he fell into a pit at the Islington freezing works this morning. The St John Ambulance was summoned and brought the injured man into the Christchurch Hospital, shortly after ten o’clock. His condition is stated to be not serious.
