Results at Members’ Parade. The Canterbury Kennel Club held * successful parade at the residence of Mrs M. H. Mac Gibbon. Merivalc. on Saturday. The judges were Messrs M K. M’Dermott (sporting dogs, excepting terriers) and G. Biltcliff (all other breeds). Results:— _ docker Spaniels—Puppy class: Mrs I. M. Wheeley s Derby Diana 1 Novice «f SS: * lrs A - Nfcoll’s Freeborn of vvare (imp.) 1. Open class: N. S. Brosnan’s Ch. Renwick Nugget 1. Any Other Variety (sporting) Punnv class: Mrs R. Y. White’s Bracken of Beech wood l. Novice class: I Innes’s Bonnie of Glenlyon 1. Open class H M’Tntosh’s Gayhurst Dad 1 Li T S V “° pen c,ass: Mrs I. Wood's
Terriers (any variety) Puppy class: D- E. Vernazonis Rich ley Raider 1. Novice class: Mrs T. E. Chlsnall’s Brian Boru 1. Open class: J. Were’s Ryburn Housemont 1. Any Other Variety (non-sporting) Puppy class: Mrs D. Hopwood’s Nicholas of Ruakuri 1. This was a large class, with several puppies of outstanding merit. Through a misunderf evGral of the previous placetakers did not enter. The prize certificates were presented by Mr W. C. Leversedge, vice-presi-dent. who thanked Mrs Mac Gibbon for placing her grounds at the disposal of the club.
