MODEL BUILDINGS.

Town Planning Display in D.I.C. Details of the town planning and housing exhibition that is to be opened in the D.I.C. to-morrow were discussed at a meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Town Planning Institute of New Zealand last evening. Mr A. R. Galbraith presided. The exhibition, which is being conducted by the institute in association with the New Zealand Institute of Architects, the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers will be open for a week. Mr V. R. J. Hean reported that space had been made available by the management of the D.I.C. With regard to the bays, the principal firms had given their assistance and the construction work had been carried out gratis. By to-day, he said, the bays would be practically finished and a start would be made with the hanging of the drawings.
