“THE MERRY WIDOW.”
Ever-popular Musical Play Opens Saturday. The J. C. Williamson, Ltd., New Comic Opera Company, which is enjoying a triumphant tour in the North Island, will begin its Christchurch season at the Theatre Royal on Saturday afternoon and evening next in a brilliant production of the ever-popular musical play, “ The Merry Widow ”, which will be staged for five nights and a final afternoon performance will be presented on Wednesday, February 14. Three revivals of "The Arcadians” will be produced on Friday and Satui*day nights and Saturday afternoon, February 16 and 17, and on Monday and Tuesday, February 19 and- 20. Wildflower ” will be performed. On Wednesday afternoon and evening, February 21, and three following nights, and on Saturday afternoon, February 24. " Floradora ” will be staged, and the final production will be “ A Country Girl ”, which will be produced on Monday, February 26, and two following evenings, and on Wednesday afternoon. February 28.
