Seventh Round Completed on Saturday. The seventh round of the Suburban Cricket Association’s competition* wa* concluded on Saturday. The w**th*r was perfect and the wickets war* in favour of the batsmen. Beckenham increased their lekd in point* by securing ft win on the flrrt innings over Working Men's Club. Railway defeated Sunnymde. who still occupy second place. Mairehau improved their position by defeating -Shirley, securing eight point*. The following table shows fhe positions of fhe senior teams;—

Beckenham v. W.M.C. In reply to Beckenham’* first innings total of 177, Working Men’s Club carried their total to 188, due mainly to a! fine stand by A. Shand and F. Wtrr,! which added SO runs for the fifth wicket. When the pair were separated at 104 u rot set in ftnd wickets fell cheaply, with the exception of W. Cunningham, who hit up 16 in quick style. Beckenham went in for an hour to score 93 for ; the loss of five wickets and then declared. W. Skelton, 58 not oat, gave u good display. The second day of the match between Mairehau and Shirley at Richmond Domain was full of interest and the batting was a great improvement on that of the previous Saturday. With three wickets down for 56 ruw«, Mairehau ran up 147. A good partnership bbtween K. Oakley and Robinson brightened the innings, but Davis was very cautious batting three hours for 20 runs. A good knock by L. Kirk was largely responsible for Shirlej r ’s second innings total of 118, which left Mairehau 61 to make to secure an eight-point win.
