TRAILER DRIVING.
Haphazard Methods Are Dangerous. As holiday seasons go by, the use of trailers is becoming ever more popular. With the use of these vehicles the dimcult ies of driving the car are increased somewhat and motorists Mould be well advised to drive with a good deal more discretion than usual. Many motorists have the erroneous idea that a car can be driven as fast with a trailer as without. 'Without experience drivers can have no knowledge of the peculiarities of trailers and will be well advised to drive slowly. The overloaded trailer . imposes a certain amount of extra load on the engine, but, fortunately, neither the performance nor the economy of the _ impaired to any great extent, providing that both the speed and the load are kept within reasonable limits.
