Six Employees of Swiss Firm Arrested. ESPIONAGE IN CHINA. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January -16, 11.30 a.m.) MOSCOW, January 15. A new spy case, reminiscent of the Metropolitan, Vickers affair, explains the arrest of a Belgian named Bernardt, two Austrian brothers named Weinsettl, one Dane named Larsen and two Germans named Fleische and Rhoden, all executive employees of the control company branch of the Swiss Societe Generale des Survellances, which certified to the exports of grain, lumber and oil under guarantees on which the banks pay promptly. Though the arrests Began in September and were cimpleted in December, it is not revealed that the men have been charged as individuals with economic espionage. The company is not involved. Twenty Russian employees are also arrested.
