Over-crowded Trams.
Dear Sir.—l have had a similar experience to “ Get Out and Walk,” although I am glad to say that it has not embittered me. I decided to contribute my shilling to help the Tramway Board by going to the Cashmere terminus on Sunday, and I had to stand all the way, in addition to which the conductor very rudely bumped and bundled against everybody standing in the car. I honestly wondered if he had receqtly been disrated or whether he had some other grievance. I appreciate the fact that trams will not pay unless they are overcrowded, but I do say that if we are to have overcrowding the aisles should be made a little wider and convenient straps hung overhead.—l am. etc.. NO WALKER.
