Kent, flagship of the China Squadron, accompanied by the aircraft carrier Eagle, HM.S. Suffolk and a number of destroyers arrived to-day. Admiral Drever made an official landing. The Eagle’s aircraft combined with the aircraft attached to the Singapore Base in exercises. One machine made a forced landing and overturned, but the pilot was not hurt. The naval conference will probably lie held on January 23, on board 11.M.5. Kent.
