Kellerman Cup Race at Lyttelton. The Annette Kellerman Cup handicap distance race will be swum at Lyttelton over a course not less than three miles long in the inner harbour. This final decision was made at a meeting of the executive of the. Canterbury Swimming Centre last evening. The race will be held on Tuesday, February 20. starting The Kellerman Cup rules state that, where possible, the race must be swum hi a harbour, so that the suggested courses at Kalraki and in the Redcliffs Kstuary did not. comply with regulations. the Kstuary. for the purposes of the race, not being considered a harbour. There will be a number of visiting swimmers competing, as the race is held at the time of the New Zealand swimming championships, which will be decided in Christchurch, starting on February 17.
