Tramway Matters.

Dear Sir, —While I congratulate the Tramway Board for reducing fares to the seaside, I think that something should he done to cope with the extra passengers carried. If the board expect to popularise their seaside tram service, they should provide extra trams or extra trailers. For instance, yesterday I went down to Sumner, and there was not even reasonable standing room for the passengers, and then the guard pushed through every five minutes. The board could quite easily put on duplicate trams for the convenience and comfort of passengers, especially as they have no' altered the timetable.—l am. etc.. GET OUT AND WALK.
