Presiding at a meeting of the Scottish Socialist Party, Mr P. G. Dolan said that the party wholeheartedly supported Sir Stafford Cripps in his speech regarding Buckingham Palace, as did the Labour and Social movement throughout the country. Sir Stafford Cripps, replying, said that in the event of a Russian and Japanese war the working class was of opinion that Britain would solidly support Russia and take every step to prevent assistance being given to Japan.
