HYPNOTISED WIFE.

Court Issues Injunction in Chicago Case.

United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.

CHICAGO, January 13. Judge Desort issued an injunction prohibiting Dr Ernest Rossow from hypnotising his divorced wife, after she claimed that the doctor had forced her into an unfavourable property settlement while she was under his spell. The wife declared that the hypnotism resulted when the doctor counted to five slowly. The physician’s counsel, in an effort to disprove the charge, ordered his client to count. At the number five the wife’s head snapped back and her eyes closed. When she revived a few minutes later she became hysterical.
