PRICE OF INSULIN CUT.

British Official Wireless. RUGBY, January 13. Leading British drug manufacturers announce reductions in the price of insulin used for the treatment of diabetes.

Last November British chemical manufacturers gave an assurance to the Boar:, of Trade tribunal that, if a duty was imposed on imported insulin, the price of the home product would not be raised. The existing duty of 10 per cent was thereupon raised to 33 per cent, from December 17 last. The reduction in price now announced is approximately 12 per cent.
