ROYAL SHOW.

Special Arrangements for Stock Transport.

Arrangements have been made to run a special stock train with Royal Show stock from Palmerston North on Sunday, February 4, according to advice received by the Canterbury A. and P. Association from the secretary of the Royal Agricultural Society (Mr J. Pow). This train will leave at 4 p.m. and arrive at Remuera (Auckland) about 12.30 p.m. on Monday, February 5. South Island stock will have to leave by steamer on Saturday night, February 3. This stock will reach Palmerston North shortly after midday on Sunday.

The secretary of the Canterbury Association (Mr M. E. Lyons) stated this morning that in all probability a number of sheep and a contingent of draught horses wpuld be sent to the Royal Show from the Canterbury province. \
