INVIED TO RUSSIA
Mussolini Curious About Soviet’s Work. LONDON, December 17. According to the “ Evening Standard’s ” diari-t, an official invitation to Mussolini to visit Moscow as the guest of the Soviet is expected in Januarv, in return for the Duce's recent hospitality to M. Litvinoff in Rome. Though Mussolini is reluctant to travel, and has not left Italy since 1926, he has always shown curiosity regarding the Bolshevist experiment. “ The spectacle of the modern Napoleon triumphantly entering Moscow will fittingly symbolise the reconciliation between the two dictatorships,” says the diarist.
