Russian Professor to Make Experiment. LONDON, Decemer 12. When Professor Lazarev told the Soviet Academy of Science at Leningrad that it was possible for human life to be extended to 180 years, Professor Karpinsky, who is eighty-seven, immediately offered himself for experiment. The Moscow correspondent of the “ Sunday Times ” says that Professor Lazarev declared that a study of th e sensitivity of the brain centres, which were retainable by bio-physical methods, proved the truth of his assertion. Professor Karpinsky is president of the academy.
