Those who have had experience of permanent jacks generally consider that the convenience of being able to jack up without soiling hands or clothes far outweighs any slight disadvantages which may be advanced against them. There is no reason at all why the jacks should not be transferred to another car; as a rule the fitting is quite a simple matter, and the charge for it is not, usually, more than a few shillings.
