As the conclusion to a successful year, the Parents’ Committee of the Sydenham Free Kindergarten recently held its final social and dance for 1933. The year has been a record one for the committee in many ways, both in the amount of money raised and the number of socials held. Messrs Cole and Thompson, to whom much of the success of these socials is due, were M.C.’s for the evening, and the music for the dancing was supplied by the Savage Novelty Trio. Tap-dances were given by Miss Turnbull and Mr Bell, songs by Mr T. Richards and an acrobatic dance by Miss M’Cullen. Mr B. Smart played the accompaniments. A vote of thanks was passed to the Parents’ Committee, of which Mrs Bugg is convener, and the artists who gave items for their work during the year. BB HI S 3 m® @ISHI © @®@ @@®@® ® ® f
