Big Increase of Communism in India. United Press Assn.— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, December 14. A grave increase in communist activitives has occurred in India during the past few months, following the discovery of Moscow’s plans for intensifying the. subversive campaign against the British Government in India, including the organisation of strikes, nationalist, student and peasant movements and an endeavour to undermine the loyalty of Indian troops. The most powerful Red groups are at Calcutta and Bombay. Agitators are now endeavouring to develop the movement in the agricultural areas.
