5 Per Cent Rise in Week at Melbourne.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 15, noon). MELBOURNE, December 15. At the wool sales practically a complete clearance was made of the 10,000 bales offered. A week of strong sales concluded with prices showing an almost general advance of 5 per cent on the opening of the series on Monday. Merinos made to 273 d and comebacks to 2Sid.
