Mackersey, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington. Mrs Guy Paseoe, Oxford Terrace, is visiting Ilanmer Springs. Mrs P. Garland Smith and Mrs 11. E. Harris, Christchurch, are. visiting Wellington. Mrs H. S. Atkinson and .Miss Atkinson. Christchurch, are guests at Barry’s Hotel. Miss Kathleen Talbot, Christchurch, is staying with Mrs E. 11. Pike, Crohamhurst. Fairlie. Mrs R- H. Tavlpr, Temuka, who has been staying in Christchurch, has re* turned home. Mr and Mrs G. A. Alexander. Sumner, have left to spend a holiday at Motunau. Miss Ethel King, Dunedin, who has been the guest of Miss Mary Anderson, Christchurch, has returned home. Miss Janet Paterson left yesterday to stay with her parents. Dr and Mrs C. A. Paterson, Timaru. Captain and Mrs Hamilton Price and family, Knowles Street, will leave next" May for England. Mrs Kenneth Macdonald, Fendalton, will leave on Tuesday on a' visit to Hawke’s Bay. Miss Norah Deans is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs John Deans, of Kirkstyle. Mr and Mrs John. Montgomery, “ Holm brook.” Fendalton, will return home this week-end from a holiday tour of the Southern Lakes./’ Mr and Mrs F. H. R. Neville and Miss Dorothv Neville, Sumner, left yesterdav for Dunedin, w T here they will live in the future. Mr and Mrs W. A. C. M’Donald, who have been living in Wellington for several vears, will return this month to make their home in Christchurch. Mrs J. F. Buchanan, Fendalton, and her daughter, Mrs Gerald Anderson, will leave Christchurch to-morrow to spend a holiday in M ellington and Hawke’s Bay. Miss Rachel Denham has arrived in town from Clarence Bridge, Marlborough, to spend a holiday with her mother, Mrs J. E. Todhunter, St Albans. Miss Thelma Gelling, St Andrew’s Square, will leave to-night for Wellington. where she will l>e the guest of her aunt, Mrs A. S: Coulton, Mahara House, Waikanae. Mrs Arthur Grigg, Surrey Hills, has returned from a visit to her mother, Mrs J. Cracroft Wilson, Cashmere House. Mrs Kellock, Ilawarden, is at present Mrs Grigg s guest.' Mrs Sutro, Hawke’s Bay, will arrive in Christchurch to-morrow and will be the guest of Mrs J. H. Watherston, Fendalton. Mrs Sutro returned to the Dominion from England about a month ago by the Akaroa. Misses Kitty and Cara Courage and Mr David Courage. Shropshire, England, who are staying at the Hermitage, Mount Cook, will return to Christchurch next week and will be the guests of Miss A. Todhunter, Naseby Street. Mrs Harry Quane, formerly of Christchurch, who has been living in England ior the last few years, will return to New Zealand by the Tainui, due at Auckland on Monday. Mr and Mrs Cecil Quane, Wellington, will leave for Auckland to-day to meet her on arrival.
