New Premises for Insurance Company. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 5. It is announced that the Colonial Mutuo! Life Assurance has approved of £IOO,OOO approximately for the erection of new premises on the site of the present premises in Wellington. The society is receiving a subsidy from the Unemployment Board. It is stated that as far as possible New Zealand materials will be used. The designs are by Hennessv. Hennessy and Co., of Sydney. Brisbane and Melbourne, in association with Swan, Lawrence and Swan, Wellington, and the contractors are the Lewis Construction. Ltd., with its registered office in Wellington.
