Itinerary for Australian Visitors. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. December 4. The following: Itinerary for the Dominion tour of the Australian athletes. Barwick and Metcalfe, and another to be invited, was approved by the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Associiation to-night:— February 19—Arrive Wellington by Maun gran ui. February 21—Compete at Waimate. February 24 —At Dunedin. February 28—At Invercargill or Oamaru. March 3—At Christchurch. March 7—At Blenheim. March 10—At Wellington. March 14—At Napier. March 17—At Wanganui. March 21—At Hawera or New Plymouth. March 24—At Auckland. March 28—At Rotorua. March 30—Leave Auckland by the Wanganella. Amateur Status. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 4. In reply to a letter received from the Hastings School Council, the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association stated at its meeting to-night that all boys who compete in events carrying cash prizes infringe their amateur status, and require to be reinstated before they again compete as amateurs. The suggestion had been made that boys who had not attained the age of sixteen would not have their status affected. New Brighton Club.
