British M.P. Urges Free Entry Should Cease. NEGOTIATIONS TO BEGIN. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 5, noon.) LONDON, December 4. In the House of Commons Mr G. Lambert asked: “Will Major Elliot notify Australia and New Zealand that the existing free entry of meat will cease after June 30, unless the price of British meat shows a reasonable profit to the producer?” Major Elliot replied: “The method of importation of meat after June 30 will receive consideration in consultation with the Dominions.”
