Christchurch Club. The final between R. G. Arnould and P. 1-t. Ciodby for the Godby Trophy and the knock-out competition was decided during the week-end. They were all square in the first play-off, but in the second Arnould won, 4 and 3. Russley Club. A bogey handicap was played at Russley on Saturday. A novel exhibition golf match was played at Balmacewen links to-day between Miss O. Kay, Australian and New Zealand lady champion. and B. V. Wright, New Zealand amateur champion. As Mif>s Kay played from the men s tees she was given a handicap of six strokes over the course of eighteen holes. A very high standard of golf was revealed by both players, ami though Miss Kay was 4 down at the turn she made n splendid recovery to be 1 at the eighteenth.
