Per Press Association. DARGAYILLE. December 4. While playing with other children on logs in Boom Creek, alongside the Tangowahine sawmill yesterday, a git 1. Phyllis Wright, six years of age. daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Wright, fell into the creek and was drotvned. The alarm was given, and a Maori named Steve Fatt recovered the body from the river, but attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful. At an it; quest held to-day, Mr J. A. M’Lean. the Coroner, returned a verdict of accidental drowning.
