INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
Ten cases of notifiable, diseases were reported to the Health Department in Canterbury and the West Coast districts during; the week ended at noon to-day. There was one death in Canterbury from tuberculosis, and one from puerperal sepsis. Following- are the details: West Coast—Diphtheria, 1. Canterbury—Scarlet fever, 2; tuberculosis. 5; puerperal sepsis. 1; eclampsia, l ; total, 10.
