RAILWAY EXCURSION.

Trip to Broken River Gorge.

To-morrow trampers will have the last opportunity this season for taking part in a railway excursion, when a train will be run to the Broken River Gorge. Good picnicking facilities are available within a few minutes’ walk from the railway. The surrounding country will provide interesting rambles for hikers. In addition the river will afford sport for fishermen. Both minnow and fly fishing are available. Good bathing can be had in the river. Milk, tea and sugar will be provided.
