CRICKET JUBILEE.

Auckland Function During Canterbury Match. (Special to the **Star.’*) AUCKLAND, November 29. At a meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association, a tentative programme was drawn up dealing with the prospective jubilee celebrations. The chairman (Mr E. E. Nalder) suggested that the main celebrations should be held in conjunction with the Plunket Shield match against Canterbury at Eden Park, early in January. All old representatives would be the guests of the association. It was proposed to hold a jubilee smoke concert one evening during the progress of the Canterbury match, to which all past and present players and friends would be invited. Letters of invitation would be sent to ail the major and minor associations, and also affiliated bodies, asking them either to send or nominate representatives. The suggestion met with general approval.
