Official Declaration of Voting. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, November 29. The official declaration of the poll in the Buller by-election is: P. C. Webb 4799 H. I. Sim son 2249 Majority for Webb .... 2550 Total valid votes 7048 Informal 343 Mr P. C. Webb may Take Seat Tomorrow. (“Star” Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, November 29. It is expected that the newly elected member for Buller, Mr P. C. Webb, will take his seat in the House to-morrow. The writ will probably be in the hands of the Speaker of the House tomorrow morning, the official count having been completed last evening. Mr Webb will sit in the second row of the Opposition benches, and will have as his bench mate the member for Hutt, Mr Walter Nash.
