Reports of Church Cases of Immorality. LONDON, November IS. The Church of England Assembly, after discussion of the Stiffkey case, adopted a proposal to restrict publication of reports of cases in the Consistory Court in which clergymen are accused of immorality. Rev Harold Davidson, formerly Rector of Stiffkey (Norfolk), after a sensational trial by the Consistory Court, was found guilty of immoral conduct, and' degraded and deposed from his offices of priest and deacon.
