FRUITGROWERS PROTEST.
Single Agency System of Marketing. Per Press Association. NELSON, November 29. A largely-attended meeting of the Hills Fruitgrowers’ Union, representing the largest apple-exporting district in the Dominion, severely condemned the single agency system of marketing, and called upon the Control Board to revert to the system of selling by a full panel of brokers. The meeting condemned the system of pooling the proceeds, and asked for the rendering of individual accounts of sales. The Redwood's Valley Association also passed a resolution against the system of having a single broker.
