A grey duck which hatched out eight ducklings in a Christchurch garden recently was given an opportunity of taking her brood to more aquatic surroundings. Traffic at the intersection of Bealey Avenue and Papanui Road made a clear passage for the mother and ducklings as, driven by three children, they made their waddling way across the intersection and finally arrived on the banks of the Avon.
