TEA PARTY.
Prebbleton Sunday School Scholars Entertained. Members of the Prebbleton Presbyterian Bible Class entertained the Sunday School scholars in the library on Friday at a tea party at which a number of the parents were also present. Tire six o’clock tea, followed by games, was enjoyed by everyone. A short concert programme was also given by the children, those taking part being Doris and Louie Sheriff, Zilpha, Valarie and Jack Archer, Olive and Nancy Riches, Olive Chesmar, Betty Barr, Bessie Hands, Lenda Barr and June M'Clintock. Other children present were: Shirley and Maurice M’Clintock, Mavis, Ronald and David Sheriff, Wallace Taylor, Frank Archer, Bob Herne, Alan Ash, Jim Port, Owen, Jack and David Williams, Charlie Chesmar, Helen Richies and Alwyn Williams. The adults present were: Rev G. R. Macrae and Mrs Macrae, Mr and Mrs P. Basher, Mesdames J. M’Clintock, C. Chesmar, C. Hands, J. Giles, A. Clarke, H. Riches. Sheriff, H. Taylor, L. Williams and G. Millar: M-isstes Poppy Hammond, Gladys Johns, Winnie Herne, Vera Chesmar. Maida and Enid Cain, and Lilian Millar.
