After a quiet opening for the week, the Stock Exchange became more active yesterday and business continued to be good to-day. Bank of New Zealands sold at values showing an improvement., and there were no more offering this morning after the sales. A slight reduction was made in sellers’ limits for several other bank issues. Offers for New Zealand Insurances were advanced, but without attracting sellers. LATE SALES YESTERDAY. Christchurch.
