BRIDGE AT WOMEN’S CLUB.

About 150 members and friends of the Canterbury Women's Club took part in the bridge party held at the club rooms last evening. The receptionroom was massed with beautiful flowers, chief amongst them being a large central bowl of mixed lupins. The act-ing-hostesses were Airs A. Wickes, who wore an attractive frock and coatee of amethy'st crushed velvet, and Aiiss E. Sinclair, wearing a graceful black crepe de chine frock and a black velvet coatee.
